As a part of a team assignment for EME6631,(6631projectproposal.doc), my group prepared a project budget using a cost based approach in response to a proposal from another team. We based the budget on our estimates of time, materials, travel, equipment, and profit projections. For instance, our budget of $288,350.00 (page 12) was based on our time and materials estimates (page 17), utilizing industry standard rates for a CBT project of this type. The budget document was prepared as a team, utilizing my time and materials estimates. My on the job work has included project budget estimation and control for more than 20 years, with budget responsibility exceeding $5,000,000.00 in one instance where I was responsible for managing the training budget of a 400 location national restaurant franchise.
