Prepares a learning and performance context analysis for a given learning outcome.
Rating-3 Moderately Skilled

As an assignment in EME5603, I conducted a learning and context analysis as a part of the semester project proposal (5603learnerperformanceanalysis.doc). In this analysis, I considered group characteristics, educational and ability levels, social aspects of the performance site, and relevance to the workplace as elements that helped shape the design. For instance, the fact that a 23 member group was scattered internationally to five worksites eliminated classroom training as an option (page 1). The fact that the subject matter was their paycheck (page 2) assured a positive attitude and a high degree of relevance, two key elements in Keller's ARCS motivation model.
