During my internship with All About Staffing, I conducted a customer satisfaction survey for the IT and Software Development departments regarding stakeholder satisfaction with the services provided. Although training is one of the services provided by this group, they also provide a broad range of other services. The document internshipsurvey.doc outlines the survey, its methodology, and conclusions. The spreadsheet internshipsurveydata.xls presents the survey data and analysis. The data sources One example of a conclusion drawn from the survey involved documentation, a key part of the user training strategy at All aBout Staffing. The data indicated that the user documentation was not rated as highly as some other functions (Mean Ratings by Department tab in internshipsurveydata.xls). However, the survey received a very low response percentage to the documentation questions. Closer examination of the raw data indicated that the majority of respondents indicated they had never used the documentation or were not aware of its existence. Based on this evidence, it was concluded (page 4 of internshipsurvey.doc) that there was not a quality concern with the user documentation, but rather an awareness issue.
