I believe I have developed strong skills in the area of needs assessment. I have conducted needs assessments for various target groups for my employers during my studies at FSU, including Ocwen Technology Xchange, ESRD Laboratory, and Watson Laboratories Florida.

An example of such a needs assessment proposal for Ocwen Technology Xchange (OTX) was submitted as an assignment for EME5601. That proposal was based on a request from Training Director of that organization to address the needs for updating their training in response to an impending product upgrade, as well as to resolve cost and preference issues among their staff. At the same time there was an ultimatum from the CEO to reduce training costs per user by 50% (page 1).

In the OTX needs assessment proposal for their REALTrans product, I defined the target audience, quantified the performance gap, proposed an analysis plan, discussed the plan's feasibility and outlined instruments and protocol to be used.
