Rating-4 Highly Skilled

A job-task analysis was conducted on the job of Client Service Representative at ESRD Laboratory to complete an assignment in EME5601 (5601jobtaskanalysis.doc). I conducted the analysis by interviewing an experienced individual who had been identified as an exemplary performer in the job, and analyzing tasks and subtasks required to perform various job functions (pages 3-5). One primary skill, Results Reporting, was broken down into detailed sub-skills. Five key areas of knowledge, nine skills, and one key attitude were identified for the Results Reporting task (page 6). This skill set later became the basis for developing training materials for the Client Service Representative job.

In addition, I utilized a hierarchical goal analysis in an assignment for EME5603 (5603goalanalysis.doc) to break down a planned training project on calculating your own bonus at Ocwen Technology Xchange. In the subordinate skills analysis, I broke down each of the five primary cognitive skills for the lesson into sub-steps and sequenced them. By identifying prerequisites for each step, including entry level skills (page 2), I was able to appropriately sequence the instruction and eliminate unnecessary instructional time.
