In an assignment for EDG6925 (6925objectives.doc) I generated a list of five-component objectives for learning outcomes in all five learning domains, including intellectual skills, cognitive strategy, verbal information, motor skills, and attitude. Within the intellectual skills category, I demonstrated five-component objectives for all five levels of complexity, from simple discrimination through higher order rules (pp 1-3). The five component objectives for each human capability included a situation, learned capability verb, an object, an action verb, and any tools, constraints, or special conditions. This made it easy to generate matching test items due to lack of ambiguity in the objectives.
