As an assignment in EDG6925, I prepared an online lesson on the nature of quality (Quality.exe) for quality management students at the Kaner Software Institute. This lesson was a part of a team prepared curriculum on blackbox testing, but the Quality lesson was entirely my own work. In the introduction to this self instruction lesson, I used a "purchasing a used car" schema to achieve the first event in learning, "gain attention". I designed the lesson to utilize all of Gagne's nine events of learning, as illustrated by the prescriptions beginning on page five of the design document, edg6925prescriptions.doc, as a comparison of the design document and the lesson will illustrate.
