I have worked together on team projects in my employment in various roles, including team leader, team participant, and cross functional team member, with excellent results. For instance, in my postion at Ocwen Technology Xchange, in many projects I functioned both as team leader of the documentation and training functions, and team project member in coordinating project details with other departments and the Project Management Office. Some examples of teamwork projects from my portfolio include a tutorial on creating an Authorware drag and drop (tutorial.exe) where my role was primarily programming the Authorware content while relying on others for usability testing, and our group project proposal for EME6631 (6631projectproposal.doc), where I worked under the direction of a project manager and focused primarily on cost and budget preparation. I have to admit that I have found working with a team at a distance one of the most difficult aspects of this program, because of the difficulty of timely coaching and feedback, as well as the lack of camaraderie that comes from working with a face to face team.
