Sometimes a Lazy Site is Good
The most obvious suggestion is that the pop up has to go. If getting the user to an information request form is so important to the company, and that appears to be the destination of every link in the popup window, I would find a way to incorporate it prominently into the home page without becoming offensive.
Second, I think the flashing customer logos are a bit distracting. Recognizing that placing those logos on the site probably was something done to try to suck up to the customers, perhaps limiting it to the “Our Customers” page would be enough. By losing the flashing customer logos from that “sweet spot” to the right of the main focal point, we could now gain a home for an “information request” button that would replace the pop up.
The net effect of these suggestions would be to make that home page a little less busy, and draw well deserved attention to the central focus graphics that seem so well done.
